Gagi is a small village in Kanke blocks of Ranchi, India. It has a population of 2943. 90% of this village are literate.
Attractions
In western part of this village there is a small hill, which is famous for a small fountain named Dhakni Paani. Water of this fountain continues to flow even in the driest of seasons. This is one of the best tourist place in kanke.This village is also known for a well known personality "Late Zakir Ali" And "Late falindra lal mahto".This village has also one beautiful palace in "Mahto toli" which was made 200 year's ago.This village is also the headquarters of panchayat of the same name . Gagi economy is dominated by agriculture , but now a days due to proximity to kanke urban belt , it is developing at a fast pace
