Gökbelen is a village in Silifke district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At 36°16′N 33°55′E / 36.267°N 33.917°E its distance to Silifke is 28 kilometres (17 mi) and to Mersin is 123 kilometres (76 mi). The population was 171.[1] as of 2010. But in summers the population increases for the village is used as a summer resort by some Silifke and Taşucu residents. (See Yayla) .
