Fukuoka mayoral election, 2006

The city of Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan held a mayoral election on November 19, 2006. Hiroshi Yoshida, nominated by the DPJ and the SDP won over incumbent Hirotaro Yamasaki, backed by LDP
