Fredson Marcelo Andrade Rodrigues (born 31 January 1988 in São Vicente), known simply as Fredson, is a Cape Verdean footballer who plays for Académica do Mindelo as a midfielder.
During his teenage years, he went to Portugal and played with the northern based team of Porto in the youth team. He played his first senior career with Varzim from 2007 up to 2009 and made only a single appearance. He was on loan with F.C. Pampilhosa and played 13 matches. When he played his senior career, he never scored a goal. He came back to Cape Verde afterwards and played with his hometown clubs, first Batuque from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, he played for the island's most prominent club CS Mindelense and since 2015, he plays for Académica do Mindelo.
