Fountain Hills High School was built in 1991. It is located next to the local Golden Eagle Park, south of the Ashbrook Wash. The town of fountain hills itself is quite notable and unique. Most kids come from surround area of the fountain hills town being that about 40% of its population is retirees. The first graduating class was in 1994. The school mascot is the Falcon. Fountain Hills High School has many extra-curricular programs including an award-winning band, championship athletic teams, award-winning Robotics club, Honors/AP classes, an elaborate art department and much more. Fountain Hills is seeing demographic changes due to large numbers of Scottsdale kids coming in for better school options.
