Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is the main law enforcement agency in Fort Bend County, Texas. The current sheriff is Troy Nehls. The office was established along with the county in 1838.[1] It is headquartered in Richmond, Texas.[2]

Over the years, nine deputies have died while on duty, mostly due to traffic accidents.[3]
