The turquoise-winged parrotlet (Forpus spengeli) is a small parrot endemic to Colombia. It is sometimes considered a subspecies of the blue-winged parrotlet, and some taxonomic authorities (including the American Ornithological Society, still consider it so. The species blues are paler than the blue-winged parrotlet, with the turquoise-winged parrotlet having some violet mixed into underwings. Remiges are mainly green, with only base colored blue.
