Fornells (zipcode 17255) or Fornells de Mar, also known as Playa de Fornells, is a small bay and beach in the Costa Brava, Catalonia, northern Spain, lying between Sa Tuna and Tamariu and close to Aigua Blava bay. It was formerly mainly a fishing village and there is still some fishing activity.[1][2] There is a marina and two tiny beaches as well as the larger “Platja Fonda” nearby, where the Torras i Arruga family has several luxury estates.
