Finnish Championship League (Rugbyn SM-sarja) is the premier rugby union competition in Finland, formed in 2002. The league is governed by the Finnish Rugby Federation, the governing body for Rugby union in Finland. The league is played in summer months. Ten teams took part in the competition since 2014 season until 2016 season but from 2017 season onwards the competition has been held between six teams. The reigning champion (2017) is Jyväskylä RC.
