F. Lammot Belin

Ferdinand Lammot Belin (1881-1961) served as the second United States Chief of Protocol from November 17, 1930 to September 15, 1931 under President Herbert Hoover.[1] He was preceded by James Clement Dunn and was succeeded by Warren Delano Robbins. He was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Poland on November 2, 1932, presented his credentials on December 13, 1932 and had his mission terminated on March 4, 1933.[2] He was preceded by John N. Willys and succeeded by John Cudahy.
