Fotballklubben Haugesund is a Norwegian football club from the city of Haugesund. It was founded on October 28, 1993, after a merger between the football clubs Djerv 1919 and SK Haugar. FK Haugesund played in Tippeligaen in 1997, 1998, 2000 and from 2010. In 2007, FK Haugesund reached the Norwegian cup final, where they lost 0–2 to Lillestrøm. They got promoted back to Tippeligaen by winning Adeccoligaen 2009 and have played at the top level since.
