Dr Eric Jensen is an associate professor of the Department of Sociology at the University of Warwick, who specialises in social research. His research has focused in the topics of non-visitor research, audience research and evaluation for informal learning and heritage institutions.[3]

Academic career

Eric Jensen holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Cambridge (UK). Jensen's journal articles have been published in Public Understanding of Science,[3] Culture and Psychology,[4] New Genetics & Society, Media, Culture & Society, and Psychology & Society.[5] He wrote two chapters in Investigating Science Communication in the Information Age, published by the Oxford University Press.[6] He is co-editor of Culture & Social Change: Transforming Society through the Power of Ideas (Information Age),[7] and contributing two original theoretical chapters.[8][9]

Jensen is an Associate Education Fellow at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust,[3] he has advised and contributed to the EU-Zoos-XXI project at Durrell Wildlife Park.[3] As a researcher, Jensen has contributed to recent (2013, 2015, and 2016) global survey projects, including evaluation of "Biodiversity Is Us".[10]
