Eleven Members
In 1647 eleven Presbyterian Members of the House of Commons of England were singled out by the Grandees of the New Model Army as their principle opponents in the House of Commons. They were accused by the Grandees and their supporters in Parliament of plots to destabilise the kingdom. The Army supporters in Parliament demanded their suspension. They were:[1]
