Ekarikthin is an annual techno-cultural festival hosted by National Institute of Technology Nagaland, in north-east India, some time in April. Lasting three days, Ekarikthin is the largest techno-cultural festival in Nagaland and provides a platform for talented youths in various cultural and technical events. Students from all over Nagaland participate.

History

Ekarikthin was held for the first time on 8 May 2015 at NIT Nagaland. NIT Nagaland was established in 2009 by the Government of India as a part of the eleventh five year plan for imparting technical education in Nagaland. NIT is Nagaland's first engineering college. The fest began as a 2 day program, but converted to a 3 day program with a growing number of participants and events. In 2015. the Directorate of Technical Education in Nagaland was the chief guest. At Ekarikthin 2016, the Nagaland governor P.B. Acharya was the chief guest.c
