Edmund Morris (MP for Leicestershire)
Edmund Morris (c. 1686 – July 1759) was an English politician.
He was born the eldest son of Charles Morris of Loddington, Leicestershire and educated at Rugby School, Magdalen College, and the Middle Temple.
He served as Member of Parliament for Leicestershire from 1722 to 1727, and was later appointed Sheriff of Leicestershire for 1747.
He was buried at Loddington on 30 July 1759. He had married Anne, the daughter of Sir Alexander Campbell, MP of Calder, Nairn, Scotland and had one son and four daughters.
