Edgeworth Beresford David (traditional Chinese: 戴維德; simplified Chinese: 戴维德; Jyutping: daai3wai4dak1), 1908–1965) was the Colonial Secretary of Hong Kong from 1955 - 1957 and the last Chief Secretary of Singapore from 1958 to 1959. David was briefly Administrator of Hong Kong for a short time after Robert Brown Black was named Governor in late 1957.
