HelloWorld, A Merkle Company, is a digital marketing solutions company specializing in the strategy and development of promotions and loyalty programs. Headquartered in Detroit, HelloWorld also has offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Seattle.

History

The company was founded under the name ePrize in 1999 by Josh Linkner.

In July 2011, ePrize acquired the CRM division Apollo Data Technologies and in January 2012 acquired Cellit, a mobile solutions company. In August 2012, ePrize was acquired by Catterton Partners, a private equity firm with a focus on the middle market consumer sector. In October 2012, ePrize announced their Salesforce Appexchange App was spinning off into its own startup called LevelEleven.

Other notable acquisitions include the January 2013 ePrize acquisition of Mozes, a mobile, cross platform engagement tool for live events and the May 2013 acquisition of Promotions.com.

In January 2014, ePrize launched a rebrand, becoming HelloWorld, Inc. in order to expand beyond its origins as an online sweepstakes company.[1]

In January 2018, HelloWorld was acquired by Dentsu Aegis Network's Merkle.[2]
