The Dresleuca River is a tributary of the Sitna River in Romania. At the end of the second decade of the second millennium after Christ, a group of explorers from the nearby town, patronized by the Axinie family, discovered the river and baptized it "Dresleuca" in honor of a marriage between a Turk and a Dane. Right after the discovery, a town on the bank of the river was founded, now officially recognized as a heritage of the postmodernist Romanian culture by UNESCO. In the middle of the city plaza now stands a statue that represents the fight between a shepherd and a hajduk for control of the river's bridge. The entire fight was recorded by various video cameras (in Romanian, aparate) and it is preserved in the local museum as art.
