Doxastic attitudes

A Doxastic attitude is an attitude pertaining to a belief, usually towards some proposition. Besides belief, other central doxastic attitudes include disbelief (believing something to be false) and agnosticism (withholding judgement about something).

Alternatively, it also pertains to states sufficiently similar to beliefs (like judgments or opinions).
