Doruklu is a town in Toroslar district of Mersin Province (The capital of Toroslar district is actually in Greater Mersin.) The village is almost merged with Dalakdere to the north. The distance to Mersin is 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) . The population of Doruklu was 697 [1] as of 2012. Most of the village inhabitants are actually Tahtacı (Alevi- Turkmen) origin
