Don't Wake Mommy (also known as Dark Intentions and Maternal Bonds) is a 2015 American thriller film written and directed by Chris Sivertson.

Synopsis

Molly, the first of her friends to have a child, is struggling with her role as a new mom and her jealousy of her friends' careers. Her firefighter husband Brad recommends an online support community, where Molly finds temporary improvement after meeting Beth, another new mother who is raising her infant son Robert alone. Beth helps Molly out at her home but also works to drive a wedge between Molly and her old friends. One afternoon Beth drugs Molly at lunch and allows Molly to pass out, leaving her daughter Ava in the car. Her husband finds them and becomes distrustful of his wife after learning that she hid her diagnosis of postpartum depression from him.
Molly's friend Susan catches Beth lying about where she previously worked and begins investigating her. Susan contacts Dr. Bob Everett, an obstetrician whom Beth had blackmailed for months by claiming to be pregnant with his child, though Bob insists that Beth is actually infertile. Susan discovers that Beth faked her pregnancy and her baby Robert was stolen from parents Susan considered neglectful. Susan races to Molly's house where Beth has drugged Molly with oxycodone and confronts her but Beth injects drugs into Susan and kills her.
Beth concocts a fantasy in which Robert and Ava are her missing twins that have been returned to her and takes them from the home. Molly awakes to find them missing and rushes to Beth's apartment in a panic, only to find it empty of her belongings. She calls her husband Brad, who insists that Beth took the babies on a picnic and ridicules her panicked behavior. Molly returns home and finds Susan's body in her closet. She uses Susan's cellphone to call a woman who was in a fake mother group with Beth and obtains the address of Beth's mother. She races to that address, where Beth's mother discovers her and attempts to inject drugs into her. Molly fights her off and takes the needle then confronts Beth, who pulls a steak knife on her. Molly knocks the knife out of her hands and the struggle in the hallway before Molly injects Beth with half of the drugs. Molly discovers a door hidden behind a cabinet and finds the two babies as Beth crawls into the room, begging to be injected with the rest of the drugs before passing out.
Molly rescues her daughter Ava and returns Robert to his real parents. Beth is shown in prison doting over a crying baby doll.

The film was produced under the title Don't Wake Mommy but was released in some regions under the titles Dark Intentions and Maternal Bonds^[1] before being released on Lifetime Television as Don't Wake Mommy. The film was originally broadcast on TV in France by MarVista Entertainment in 2015 and was later broadcast on Lifetime Television in the United States on January 2, 2016.^[2]
