Francesca Stuart Sindici (1858 - c. 1929) was a Spanish-Italian painter.

Biography

She was born in Madrid and became a pupil of Eduardo Dalbono and Domenico Morelli at the Naples Academy of Fine Arts.[1] She married the Italian poet Augusto Sindici. Their daughter Magda became a novelist and married the British publisher William Heinemann. The wedding in 1899 was held at their home in Rome.[2]

She is known for paintings of horses and cavalry. Her painting A Carriage Race at Naples was included in the 1905 book Women Painters of the World.[3]
