Sir George Brian Hugh Dillon (2 October 1925 – 22 June 2003), usually known as Brian Dillon, was a British judge who sat on the Court of Appeal.[1][2]
He studied at Winchester College at New College, Oxford.[1]
He served briefly in World War II from 1943 aboard the destroyer HMS Tyrian, in the Far East.[1]
He was called to the bar by Lincoln's Inn in 1948. He took silk in 1965, and was appointed a judge of the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice in 1979. He was promoted to the Court of Appeal in 1982, when he also became a member of the Privy Council, and retired in 1994.[1]
