Dharmapuri Subbarayar
Dharmapuri Subbarayar Iyer hailed from Dharmapuri Tamilnadu . He was a composer of Carnatic music who lived during the nineteenth century. He composed mainly in the Telugu language. He is the most notable composer of the Kavali form which he is the universally acclaimed master. His themes are erotic in nature. He used the mudra Dharampuri.
His popular compositions are: Javalis like Parulanna mata (kapi) Shakhiprana, Narimani(Khamas) etc .
