David Cork (born 28 October 1962 in Doncaster) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward.[1]
Career
Cork was signed by Arsenal in 1978 on schoolboy forms, turning professional in 1980. He made his debut on 17 December 1983 against Watford in the First Division, a game Arsenal won 3–1. He went on to help the Gunners to the Football Combination title in 1984. Cork was capped for seven league games and netted on one occasion for Arsenal.[1]
He went on to play for clubs Huddersfield Town, West Bromwich Albion while on loan, Scunthorpe United and Darlington. During his time at Darlington he won the Football Conference title in 1990 and the Fourth Division title in the following season.[2][1][3][4]
