Dasochori
Dasochori (Greek: Δασοχώρι) is a settlement in the Grevena regional unit, northern Greece. It is part of the municipality Deskati. West of Dasochori, there is Kavala VoA-Transmitter, a large facility for shortwave and mediumwave broadcasting.
The Dasochori village by the VOA relay station is directly East of the Nestos River Delta in a different prefecture. Therefore the Google Maps does not yield the correct location, nor does this page. Also Americanized as Dasahori, as in Dasahori Kids.
Dasochori by the Nestos is in Thrace, not Macedonia. The now defunct VOA transmitter station, with an abandoned American compound, is also in Thrace.
