Dalian Tornado Football Club (Chinese: 大连龙卷风足球俱乐部) is an amateur Chinese football club that currently participates in the China Amateur Football League. The team is based in Dalian, Liaoning.
History
Dalian Tornado was established in 2004.[1] Dalian Tornado first entered the final stage of China Amateur Football League in 2011 and won champions. They became a fixture of the Amateur Football League final as well as the Chinese FA Cup. After a stellar 2015 season, The club had to sell their Chinese FA registration and entire first-team to Dalian Boyoung F.C..[2] The following 2017 league campaign saw the club start at the bottom of the Chinese pyramid in the fourth tier with a team assembled from their former reserve squad.[3]
