The Crogga Valley Railway is a privately owned miniature 7¼ inch gauge railway immediately south of the Isle of Man Railway station at Port Soderick. Part of the railway can be seen from passing trains. The railway is operated by a small group of volunteers, and is not open to the public except by invitation.
History
The line was originally constructed in 2000 to only half of its original length; however, it has nearly doubled in length to cover the grounds of the estate. The railway currently operates a fleet of both steam and diesel locomotives, as well as a varied fleet of rolling stock.
