Crédit Agricole Srbija (Serbian Cyrillic: Креди Агрикол банка Србија) is a subsidiary bank of Agricole Group (CAS) with headquarters in Novi Sad. CAS worldwide operating in 50 countries with 52 millions of clients.
Crédit Agricole Srbija is a community bank with a focus on retail activities. It is an all-purpose bank with a network of 74 branches and 106 ATM in Serbia. It serves personal, small business and corporate customers (more than 267 000 clients). CA Serbia is the 1st bank is car loan financing, 2nd in agri-business financing, and one of the leaders in housing loans in Serbia.
History
It was founded in October 1991 as a private bank called Yuco Bank with mixed capital. Since July 2005, it is majority owned by Crédit Agricole S.A. Paris. IT IS Operating under the new name since 14 September 2009 after receiving the approval from National Bank of Serbia. Previous name of the bank was Meridian Bank Crédit Agricole Group (from 2005 until 2009).
