Council of Three
In the history of humanity there were several collective bodies named Council of Three. Most of them served either as a collegial head of state or other governing organisation.
- Polish Council of Three - a collective president of the Polish Government in Exile (1939-1990)
- Czechoslovak Council of Three - an underground organisation uniting most partisan units in occupied Czechoslovakia during World War II (1942-1945)
- Iraqi Council of Three - a collective president of Iraq chosen after the 1958 revolution
- Sanshikan, the legislature of the Ryūkyū Kingdom
