Comptroller General's Department

The Comptroller General's Department (CGD) (Thai: กรมบัญชีกลาง) is a Thai government agency located at Rama VI Rd., Samsennai, Phaya Thai, Bangkok, Thailand. 10400[1]

Abiding by the Mission of the Royal Treasury Ministry Act, the Comptroller General’s Department was established on October 7, 1890. Initially named the Accountant-General’s Department, its core mission was to manage the nation’s revenue and expenditure as well as the accounts for the royal assets, in order to ensure careful use of national budget and the country’s optimum benefit.
