Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Besançon is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Besançon. It is located in the Doubs department, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, northeastern France. It was created in December 2000. Its population was 192,816 in 2015, of which 116,676 in Besançon proper.
