Comboni College for Science and Technology (CCST), originally Comboni College for Computer Science, is a private college in Khartoum, Sudan established since 2001.

Founding

Comboni College Khartoum was founded in 1930 by the Italian Verona Fathers. The boys school had an international intake, but was primarily for Sudanese children.[1] The followers of Comboni founded a Religious Institute made up of Priests and consecrated Brothers who arrived in Sudan to continue Comboni´s work whom education became their main commitment in the country. In 1929 they founded a school called Comboni College Khartoum (CCK). In 1999, some parents of the primary section of Comboni College Khartoum asked the Comboni Priests and Brothers to develop a post-secondary section. That initiative then gave place in 2001 to Comboni College of Science and Technology (CCST) as a separate institution from the Primary and the Secondary sections of Comboni College Khartoum.
