Club Atlético Tabaré or simply Tabaré is a professional basketball club based in Montevideo, Uruguay, was founded on July 9, 1931 and joined the FUBB in 1932 earning its promotion to the Second Division in 1934 and its first ascent to First in 1948. Club Atlético Tabaré managed to devote Federal Champion in 1960, 1961, 1962, 1964 and 1968. After this time the club alternate passages from Second to First Division, having its last promotion and title in 2011, returning to decline in the 2013/14 season. It has played in the Torneo Metropolitano, Uruguay's second division since.
