Close-up Gendai Plus (クローズアップ現代+, kurozu appu gendai purasu) is a social affairs television show on NHK. The program is broadcast Monday through Thursday 22:00 - 22:25 (NHK General network). It is also broadcast on NHK World Premium on weekly basis.

The Japan Times reported in January 2016 that the NHK is considering making changes to the program, which may include the removal of Hiroko Kuniya, who has hosted the show since its inception.[1]

The show was returned under the current title, Close-up Gendai Plus on April 4, 2016. The host was NHK female announcers.
