3-time Western Canadian Music Award nominee Cityreal has garnered a respectable amount of critical acclaim for his early mixtapes, his thought-provoking music videos, and for his hip-hop/blues fusion collaborative album Good Morning Blues. The Vancouver-based rapper/ producer has toured extensively across Canada, the United States, and Europe, winning over audiences in both clubs and at numerous festivals like the Squamish Valley Music Festival, NXNE and Canadian Music Week in Toronto, the Centre of Gravity Festival in Kelowna, the World Ski and Snowboard Festival and Crankworx Festival in Whistler, and the Shambhala Festival in Nelson. Cityreal has warmed up audiences for established names like K'Naan, Ghostface Killah, Big KRIT, Ice Cube, Tech N9ne, Three 6 Mafia, Dilated Peoples, and many more. For his upcoming project, he has collaborated with notable artists such as Rich The Kid, Saukrates, Sarah McLachlan, and many more.

After touring his collaborative album Good Morning Blues, Cityreal then took a long hiatus from releasing music in order to become his mothers primary caregiver during her final battle with breast cancer. She died in early 2016. Recently, rumours that Cityreal is finishing his long awaited "Lost in Vancouver" solo project have been verified by Vice / Noisey as well as many Vancouver media outlets. The long awaited, self-produced album "Lost in Vancouver", made with New York Times bestseller and Vancouver safe injection site (Insite) founder Dr. Gabor Maté (physician) as well as the Vancouver orchestra and many notable musical collaborators will hopefully be released in late 2017.
