Glamour Camp

Glamour Camp is an American rock band formed by Christopher Otcasek and signed to EMI, where the band released their self-titled, debut album in 1988. Otcasek is the son of Ric Ocasek, founder and frontman of The Cars (Otcasek is the original spelling of the surname).

Glamour Camp's leadoff single, “She Did It” garnered some light rotation MTV play. The album wasn't a big seller so Glamour Camp’s debut also served as its swan song. However, the band did score somewhat the following year, when their remake of “Real Wild Child (Wild One)” — a song that Otcasek (and Ocasek) idol Iggy Pop had performed in 1986 — was featured (uncredited) on the Pretty Woman soundtrack.[1]
