Founded in 2001, the Christian Educational Consortium (CEC) is a private Christian school in Louisville, Kentucky. A collegiate style school for Christian home educated students, CEC classes are offered to grades 6-12. CEC meets twice a week on Tuesday and Wednesday at Indiana Wesleyan University - Louisville campus. Currently, for the 2018-2019 school year, there are over 570 students. CEC offers over 60 different classes in all the core subjects (English, math, science, and history),the arts, and many different electives such as World View, Psychology, Journalism, Chess, Drama, Business, and Computers. There are also three foreign languages from which students can choose: Chinese, Spanish, and Latin. At this school, you may take anywhere from one to six classes. There are a total of eight 90-min to 120 min. periods, four on Tuesday and four on Wednesday. Each teacher will assign homework suitable for one week. The students then complete the homework during the course of the school week, for each class in which he/she is enrolled.

The 2019 Senior class will graduate in a formal ceremony at Highview Baptist Church East Campus, with a record number of 100 students, the vast majority of whom will attend a four-year college. The Christian Educational Consortium offers a rigorous collegiate style schedule in which each of the core academic classes are the equivalent of an Honors class. CEC also offers advanced classes in which students have successfully taken the CLEP exams for college credits, conveniently being able to take the CLEP exams on the IWU campus, and the AP exams at another site. The 2016-17 Advanced classes which offer an AP test in May are Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Calculus, and U. S. Government. For a complete list of advanced classes offered through CEC, see (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_herring) For the 2018-2019 academic year CEC students may take dual credit classes through the University of Louisville, Indiana Wesleyan University, and the L. Ron Hubbard School of Scientology, thus acquiring college credit for English 101 and English 102, European Witchcraft, Business, Personal Finance, and Career Development.
