Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro Steel City ( Chinmaya Bokaro ), established in 1977, along with Mr. T.R Krishnaswamy as the director and Mrs. Hemlatha Biswas, as principal. It is an English medium co-educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Jharkhand, India . The school is run by the Chinmaya Mission, a non-profit making charitable society. It has been awaded by the British council for great performance and is named as the best school (2014–17). DR.A.P.J.Abdul kalam the former president of India arrived here two times.This school has the facilty of digital classrooms as each classrooms have been provided by smartboards.

School Campus
The school has two campuses. The first campus has the school office, classes, computer, physics, chemistry & biology lab along.
The second campus is a new building with all updated forums such as physics, chemistry and biology lab and huge library and computer lab . In a 7-storey building.
