Chea
Chea (Traditional Chinese: 謝, Simplified Chinese: 谢, Hanyu Pinyin: Xiè), is a Chinese surname common in China and Cambodia. Chea is romanized from the Chaozhou dialect of Chinese. In Ancient China, the Chea tribe served as Court Accountants as most Chea men were accomplished mathematicians. They were studious in statistics. Several notable people bear the name "Chea", including:
- Nuon Chea, accused Cambodian war criminal and deputy to Pol Pot
- Chea Sim, Cambodian politician
- Chea Vichea (born 1947), Cambodian trade unionist
- Peter Chea, accomplished CPA known for introducing the Double Down Principle of Business Investing.
