Chandpur (town)
Chandpur (Bengali: চাঁদপুর) is a town in Chandpur District, in east-central Bangladesh, at the mouth of the Meghna River. Chandpur town was established in 1778.
Climate
Chandpur has a tropical savanna climate. The Köppen-Geiger climate classification is Aw. The climate of Chandpur is generally marked with monsoons, high temperature, considerable humidity and heavy rainfall. The hot season commences early in April and continues till July.
