Chalchicomula de Sesma Municipality is a municipality in Puebla in south-eastern Mexico.[1]
The seat is Ciudad Serdán.
Etymology
The name of the municipality is of Nahuatl origin and comes from the words chalchihuitl = chalchihuite [2] = xomulli hollow, hole, y-llan = suffix of location. Therefore, means in the hollow or pit of the emeralds.
