Burgess' butterflyfish (Chaetodon burgessi) also known as the black & white butterflyfish is a species of butterflyfish native to the east Pacific, ranging from east Indonesia, the Philippines and north New Guinea, to Palau and Pohnpei in Micronesia. It is usually found on vertical or undercut dropoffs at depths of 20 to 80 metres (66 to 262 ft). This species reaches a maximum length of 14 centimetres (5.5 in) TL.[1]
