The Central Connecticut–Hartford men's basketball rivalry is an American college basketball rivalry between the Central Connecticut Blue Devils men's basketball team of Central Connecticut State University and Hartford Hawks men's basketball team of the University of Hartford. The two schools are separated by 10 miles. After the 2002 edition the series went on hiatus until 2010.[1] [2] The 2010 match up was part of the Connecticut 6 tournament held at Mohegan Sun Arena.[3] Traditionally the game is played at the beginning of every season.[4]
