Carl Breihan

Carl Breihan (1916–1998) was an American historian and writer.

He specialized in civil war historiography.

Life

He was born on 3 February 1916.[1]

He was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.

He died on 3 March 1998.[1]

Career

During his lifetime, he published nearly a dozen books and also served on the St. Louis City Council.[2]
