Campbell Hills (Antarctica)

Campbell Hills (82°26′00″S 163°47′00″E / 82.43333°S 163.78333°E / -82.43333; 163.78333Coordinates: 82°26′00″S 163°47′00″E / 82.43333°S 163.78333°E / -82.43333; 163.78333) is a group of hills 5 nautical miles (9.3 km) west-southwest of Cape Lyttelton on the south side of Nimrod Glacier. They were mapped by the U.S. Geological Survey from tellurometer surveys and Navy air photos between 1960-62, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for William J. Campbell, a U.S. Antarctic Research Program glaciologist at the Ross Ice Shelf, 1962-63.
