CN-MoM

The Combined Node Method of Moments CN-MoM is a hybrid Boundary Element Method that combines the Method of Moments with analytical calculations.

The usage of numerical methods for the calculation of electromagnetic transactions is limited by the extension of the number of unknowns of the equation system that has to be solved. Exact solutions require a fine discretization of the structure that is to be calculated and produce a vast number of unknowns for the equation system. Combining numerical methods, in the case of CN-MoM MoM with analytical methods is a way to reduce the discretization effort. Hereby established solutions for commonly quoted structures can be adopted into a numerical BEM calculation.
