Short stories

I would like to thank the person or persons who created the page about this author. MacApp did not deserve the near obscurity he seems to have gone into. His works in the 1960s were a joy to read and appeared in the same pages as the elite of scienc fiction—C.L.

IF: Technically WORLDS OF IF, the first part of the title was in such tiny print, it was virtually unnoticed. This companion to GALAXY ran for over 20 years, reaching its zenith in the 1960s. For a while it was fused with WORLDS OF TOMORROW. It featured a mix of the well-known writers like Heinlein and Asimov and lesser known and some new authors

Steve Duke/Gree: Running on and off for about 3-1/4 years, this space adventure series has just about gone into obscurity, albeit that the fact is that it ran in one of the most popular science fiction magazines, alongside the Berserker and Retief series. So it is surprising that I was unable to find ANYTHING on Google for years. Therefore, I figured I would do something about it. This is the largest and maybe only repository of material on these wonderful space adventures (until about 40 years ago, "space opera" was a dirty word: Not because of the adventurous content, but because of the quality of storytelling in the 1930s and 40's tales)

Other

Awards
