"Bruises" is the first single from Brooklyn-based band Chairlift's debut album Does You Inspire You. Bruises was featured in a commercial for Apple's 4th generation iPod Nano, and in "Walter's Walk", the second episode of the USA Network series Covert Affairs. A music video for "Bruises" was released on June 5, 2009.

Village Voice Media contributor John Hood called the song "distinctly dreamy", "utterly damaging" and "nothing short of astounding".[1]
