Bob Hogsett

Robert L. Hogsett (January 29, 1941 – December 5, 1984) was a professional basketball power forward who spent one seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a member of the Detroit Pistons ([NBA] 1966–67) and the Pittsburgh Pipers ([ABA] 1967–68). He attended the University of Tennessee. On December 5, 1984, Hogsett was found brutally murdered under mysterious circumstances. There were no witnesses and a suspect was never identified. He was 33.
